Ordered an Atari 2600 today with S-Video modification (got it)

Hey all,

 

I recently purchased an Atari 2600 with an S-Video mod from Atari 2600.com. However, I'm having a problem getting any color (only black and white). I've connected everything properly and flicked a few switches but to no avail.

 

Any ideas what could be the problem?

 

By the way, I have contacted Atari 2600.com and I'm still awaiting a reply.

They are usually slow in responding to emails, but I've dealt with them before, and they've been fair to me.

I received my Atari 2600 today!

 

• The paddles and joysticks look like they came right out of the 1980s through a time machine.
  .
  
• I am not using a monitor, so the picture isn't as perfect as the images that were posted, but there are no more wavy patterns or other nasty things that shouldn't be in the picture. It's nice and clear.

• It's very strange to have stereo sound after being stuck with mono all of those years. Cool, but strange.
  

Now I can start making YouTube videos that will have a clear picture, unlike my

! That video is full of those irritating wavy patterns.

I got my new CV on tuesday. It sure is the graphics machine...let me tell you!! My old one broke about 2 years ago...I forgot how lovely it is.
