marksowden
Tax season is among us. I would give it till Feb. 1st then sell. It will sell then. Good point. If it does not sell I will sell it in 3 weeks. Is this the one Riffraff was selling? Nope, I bought that one.
DeusExMachina
Yes you are correct. Most get their W2's by Feb. 1st and they file then. EIC is a wonderful thing. Gotta luv it. Dont get me started on EIC. I pay AMT so others can get EIC! It does seem like some of the rarer items are a hard sell right now. It also seems there are few rare games on eBay these days. homerwannabee
So tempting, one of the major ones I'm looking for right now. I can't get on ebay right now at work so I can't see it. If its up tom still then maybe.... Well I decided to price it at an even more tempting price of $695 I think the lyrics to this song for this auction are appropriate. Every limbo boy and girl All around the limbo world Gonna do the limbo rock All around the limbo clock Jack be limbo, Jack be quick Jack go unda limbo stick All around the limbo clock Hey, let's do the limbo rock Limbo lower now Limbo lower now How low can you go First you spread your limbo feet Then you move to limbo beat Limbo ankolimboneee, Bend back like a limbo tree Jack be limbo, Jack be quick Jack go unda limbo stick All around the limbo clock Hey, let's do the limbo rock la la la etc (instead of instrumental break) Get yourself a limbo girl Give that chic a limbo whirl There's a limbo moon above You will fall in limbo love Jack be limbo, Jack be quick Jack go unda limbo stick All around the limbo clock Hey, let's do the limbo rock Don't move that limbo bar You'll be a limbo star How low can you go Edited January 18, 2008 by homerwannabee

Headfamily
See if you would of waited until today to lower it, I would've gotten it. Of well, I'll make do with an aftermarket version for now. Maybe I'll get lucky and find one in Atlanta in a few months when I go up there if not one day whether sooner or later. lemoncurry
first time I've seen an auction start high and end low. New concept? hmmmmmm I call it the reverse auction. Actually, it's what is called a Dutch Auction in the real world. High start, price gradually lowers, first bid wins. Look it up if you don't believe me. What eBay calls a Dutch Auction is just one with multiple identical items. I love how they misappropriate the language. It's like Best Offer, that normally means exactly how their regular auctions work, best offer (bid) wins. What they call Best Offer is bogus, the seller does not necessarily accept the best offer made. I've considered selling items that way and calling it a "True Dutch Auction" in the ad, but was afraid eBay would take offense...
BigO
Indeed a wise choice, homey. I really would like to buy it but I am saving money for this at the moment! Ha. Finally I see a reason that I might want boxed games. It's pretty cool. That thing doesn't look like it would be too tough to replicate. How much do those original units go for? (I'm assuming that a repro wouldn't be worth a whole lot more than the materials it's made from)

ninermaniac
Awesome. If I wasn't so strapped I think I might have gotten that. I just can't believe I missed seeing it at that price. My buddies gonna be pissed. I could've told him. Oh well. I gotta restrain myself anymore. I hate medical bills. Nice buy!!
