ATARIPITBULL
Hey guyss I am not into Atari 5200 but for those of you here that are. Right now on ebay, someone has just put up a Atari 5200 store kiosk for sale, it looks ruff but over all not in bad shape. PS: It is not mine, I am looking for a 2600 store kiosk. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...A:IT&ih=017 Edited April 8, 2008 by ATARIPITBULL

I saw that. that would be kinda cool to have but its local pickup. Illinois would be a long drive.
doubledown
Look at the dust on that thing. I also like what appears to be a 2600 cartridge inserted into the 5200 slot. Quoted from the listing: "Don't know if it works I have no power in where it sits but it did work." Funny, the lower pic appears to have a 500 watt halogen work lamp turned on in the upper right corner, that's weird.

I think it's local pickup because the volume of dust would raise the shipping charges as to not be practical.
walter_J64bit
I think the dust comes with that 5200 Kiosk too and a bit of work to get it up and running.
doubledown
It'd be about a 5 hour trip each way for me. I drove 10 hours each way a few years back for this little beauty: And last weekend 1.5 hours each way for my newest toy: Then you figure in the JukeBox I own, and the fact that I live in an apartment, I'm just not sure I have the room. But for the right price maybe I could squeeze it in.

doubledown
I am still waiting for this honey........ Is that a legit kiosk or a repo? With the surface where the console/controllers are being flat almost seems like home-made version.

With the surface where the console/controllers are being flat almost seems like home-made version. 100% legit reproduction....... Thought so. If you look at the ColecoVision kiosk I have, every bit of it would be fairly easy to reproduce shy of the console/controller ledge. I know Curt Vendel made a CV kisok repo, but didn't have the artwork or the molded shelf. Still looked pretty good, but definately not an original. Of course not an original! But the closest thing you can get on earth even in a better quality!

I don't think UPS has boxes that big. lol,i always shyed away from bidding on large/heavy things. Some get screwed bidding on heavy large items and forgetting about the huge shipping bill they'll have to pay, which today is going up all the time. Can see why this item is local pickup or delivery, only Edited April 11, 2008 by Rik

Possibly he stuck the 2600 Combat cart in, obviously it didn't power up so he claimed it is "un-tested"? Might still work with an actual 5200 cart, I'm not a 5200 guy though so I'll leave it alone even though I'm not to horribly far away from it. else
Congrats man!!! If that was closer to me I would have been ALL over it. I was even mapping it today to see how bad a drive it would be -- but 17 hours each way was just more than I thought feasible. Glad to see it went to somebody who will take good care of it. Can't wait to see the pictures when it's all polished up!!!!! Edited April 18, 2008 by else
