Mark Wolfe
Ok, I downloaded PlayerPro! I had no idea it was so robust, I honestly had heard about it but thought it only played back MODs. It's very mice and has AISO drivers that will work fine with my MIDI/AUDIO setup. now I really need some MOD examples I can pick apart for learning any suggestions/links? they need to be 100-150k in size so i can see how they are constructed I know there are some huge mod repositories on line but I have no idea where to begin to look. I'm such a n00b!
Zerosquare
Do you have any links to 100-150k MOD files I can listen to? That is exactly the size I have to work with. You can find the MOD files used in Tempest 2000 there (they're "MOD Music Track #1 to #7"). They all use 4 channels. AFAIK SebRmv's mod player allows you tu use up to 8 channels. If you need other files, try The MOD archive. are there programs that can deconstruct a MOD file and extract and or replace the samples? I DO have a 2GHz windows machine at my disposal as well. You can use Modplug Tracker to do that. Edited May 17, 2008 by Zerosquare

Paolo
Surry, Mark. I only made a wish! Since my kids like Karaoke CD+g discs on the Jag, it would be cool to let them also play their favourite MIDI tunes...
