dinosaur
I am going through old stuff, to see what works, and I found a Supra 300AT modem (formerly MPP 1000E) that I don't have a power supply for. Would anyone know the power supply's voltage,if it is AC or DC, and if DC,is it center + or - ? Thanks.

The FAQ has this to say about the 1000c modem: " OTHER: MPP1000C modem: 9 V DC 200 mA (1.8 W) " I'd almost bet the two 1000 series had the same power requirements. If nothing else, you could hook it up to a variable voltage power supply that has current monitoring or limiting and watch the current as you increase the voltage. dinosaur
Thanks to the man from The Boot Factory BBS (bf2k+) ,I was able to contact The Prison Board BBS tonight with the Supra 300AT modem! It kicked me off, because minimum connect speed is 1200bps,but...What the hell! What a hoot, using a 25 year old modem and SmartTerm! I gotta find a dial-up BBS that will connect at 300bps.
