tyranthraxus
There is one for the 2600 and 5200 but none for the 7800. Anyone know why? Lack of interest? Hardware problems? John
Mayhem
Size for a start most likely...!
Tempest
Size could be a problem, but I think the real reason is lack of interest. The 7800 isn't the most popular system and 90% of the games are easily obtainable. Tempest
+Mitch
Actually, I think the main reason there isn't a 7800 multicart is because so many of the 7800 games are bankswitched. Look at the 2600 multicart, no bankswitched games. Look at the 5200 multicart, no bankswitched games. About half of the 7800 games are bankswitched, so a non-bankswitched multicart would be pretty incomplete. Of course, that's just my opinion. The fact that I have a 7800 RAM cart that plays 95% of the 7800 games, makes me feel the need for a multicart not quite so badly. tyranthraxus
So then my next question is what is a 7800 RAM cartridge and where do I get one?

+Mitch
So then my next question is what is a 7800 RAM cartridge and wheredo I get one? You have to build it yourself. The plans for the older non-bankswitched RAM cart are here. I don't think the plans for the new version have been offically released yet. That was my point, neither the 2600 or 5200 multicarts include the bankswitched games on them. Mitch http://atari7800.atari.org

Walter_J-64
Using the 2600 100 in 1 multicart is the closes thing you are going to get for a multicart on the 7800 It work just fine on the 7800!
bangles66
I'm wondering if a "cuttle cart" is possable for the 7800? I sent Chad an email asking that very question.
