atari_envy
OK. Even though I have a bad case of Atari 2600 envy looking at other people's collections, I decided to go ahead and take some pictures of my collection. It is modest (over 300 games), but almost all of it is in very good condition. Nothing really rare, though, my personal limit is $250 for a single game. More pictures are in my gallery: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?a...m&album=295 In about two weeks will be my 3 year mark collecting Atari games. It has been a lot of fun and $. atari_envy
That is a very nice entertainment center unit... would be perfect for my "core" collection. Do you happen to know where you got it or the brand. It may not still be available, but I'd like to see if it is. We got it at K-Mart about 8 years ago when we moved into the house. There is no brand name on it. Originally this was my girl's TV and entertainment center. The shelves were for their movies and some toys. Well, Daddy had other plans when he started collecting Atari -- it was a perfect fit.

aftermac
here are some pics of some of my items (just a part of it) ... it's barely impossible to get my whole collection onto one picture Wow! It's like you moved into an Apple Store and replace all the Apple stuff with Atari stuff... very nicely displayed! http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...n+new+organized Sick. Crazy sick. There is a lot of lot stuff I am coveting in that collection. What Iwan didn't say is that his next project is to build a giant room-sized humidor to keep his shrink wrapped games protected from light and environmental conditions. OK. Geez... the way you were talking I thought you had about 7 games... 5 of which being Combat. I was considering taking up a collection for you. That's a pretty nice collection you've got there... larger than mine anyway. You can see my more-modest-than-thou collection by clicking the link in my sig, but I'll post the pics in this thread in a few minutes. aftermac
I've actually added a few 2600 games since I last took pictures. I have about 200 now. I have three 2600's, two of which are Jr's, and one of those is my first video game console from 1987. The six boxed games below that are separate from the other boxed games are sealed. The other ones are open, though some are still in the shrink wrap. I am the original owner of most of the boxed games... my grandpa is the original owner of the others. I also have a 7800 with about 30 games and two A8 computers with a dozen or so games. My grandpa was the original owner of the 7800 and most of the games... which are still boxed. Crazy Climber
Here's mine. I think I need an Atari lampshade. Nice! You have quite a few rare games tucked away. Couple quick questions What are the 2 carts next to your color bar generator? Is the video life real or a repro? Whats with the blue label homebrews, prototypes? Is the video life real or a repro? Whats with the blue label homebrews, prototypes? The white carts next to the color bar generator are the Atari diagnostic carts. The video life is real. The blue label carts are a desperate attempt to lure me into the seedy underworld of the homebrew collector (I don't really know much about them at all, sorry). AntiX
This is my list of games currently, I have not categorised them by maker or any other specifics yet, I will be doing that soon. the asterixes show how many copies I have of a particular title when I have more than one, but they aren't all by the same company. See a duplicate you need? Let me know perhaps we could work out a trade. Good stuff! Thanks, it's a fairly small collection, but I'm proud that I (or my grandpa) am the original owner of a good chunk of it... and I've added a few rarer games to it as well. I just added a link to another hobby of mine to my sig, if anyone cares to look. Someday, I'll get pics of my computer collection up... last count I had over 50... mostly old Mac's, but there's a few others in there, including two Atari's. If I come across another copy of Sentinel, then we'll talk. I'm not one much for doubles (unless boxed/sealed) or label variations.
