Rom Hunter's V4 Old Era Collection Now Online

Recommended Posts

By the way, Rom's entire collection and the other one of hacks and homebrews both go on a SD card and fire right up on the Harmony. It is incredible having hundreds of 2600 games to scroll through and then hit play.

Good to hear this.

I was wondering how my collection would work on the harmony cart.

What about the filenames?

Are they fully readable?

In the long file name mode, yes.

BTW: I wonder if you would be able to generate your collections differently. E.g. ordering the information in the filename or subdirectories.

I'm not saying anything.

Similar to Post #44 but in PAL

I don't understand this.

What's so difficult about searching for (PAL) in your ROMs map and then put the result in another map?

It takes 10 seconds to do (if you're slow).

Because I dont want 15 versions of Pac Kong, each with just a different logo or different name ;) You're too thorough Rom :D

I see.

I'm sorry, Dino.

I can't help you there.

Perhaps you can first search for titles with a ~ in it.

Then put these in a second map.

Then search for (PAL) ~ in that map and put these in a third map.

And then look for the PAL versions of the ~ NTSC titles left in the second map, which can be found in the first map.

No?

Maybe, I'll look into it when i get a chance. I was kinda hoping someone had already done something like this. Omega, can clonespy be used to narrow the list so we can then split out the PAL versions?

Clonespy is only useful in finding out if roms are identical (but named different). I think I understand what you are looking for though. I'll see if I can whip something together.
