If you go to MY CONTROLS | OPTIONS | BOARD SETTINGS is your time zone set correctly? Thanks! It was set to GMT but I've changed it to EST. I think I'm going to take post up to a few hours past midnight EST though in order to give everyone time to post on their Sunday night. I thought AtariAge was using GMT for every post so that we would all see the same times.
Kurt_Woloch
OK... here are my times for the past week. The classic games: Looping (Colecovision): 47 minutes (HSC game) Montezuma's Revenge (2600): 10 minutes (HSC game) Crazy Chicky (Creativision): 7 minutes Mega Man Demo (2600): 3 minutes Charge! (2600): 1 minute The non-classic games (out of scope for the Top 10): Puzz Loop (arcade): 34 minutes (actually, this is an old game, but not that old... it's from 1998, so still outside of the scope of the Top 10) Zuma (Online game): 212 minutes in 3 sessions Restaurant City (Facebook app): 211 minutes in several sessions Illegal parking (Facebook app): 88 minutes in several sessions Kapiland (Browser game): 5 minutes in 2 sessions A note to "Zuma" and "Puzz Loop": Zuma first appeared as a Facebook app, but after the 2nd session, it suddenly disappeared. At that point I decided to play the "original" version, Puzz Loop, instead. After that, Zuma reappeared, but now it's not a Facebook app anymore, rather you get directed to PopCap's homepage (PopCap being the creator of Zuma) where there are more screens nagging you to buy the full version. But it's still tied in with Facebook as your high scores still get posted on your Facebook profile, although it's not a Facebook app per se anymore. Sure. I thought it was interesting that we had 8 games reach 1,000 minutes in the first 16 weeks, went almost 20 weeks without another game making it and then had 4 more in the last 4 weeks. BTW: Kaboom is the only game in the 5,000 minute club. Kaboom!, Galaxian, Park Patrol, Adventure, and Pitfall are all members of the 2,000 minute club. Anyone else like Rip Off? It's becoming one of my favorites lately - a pretty intense game. I packed up a Flashback 2, 7800 Flashback and a PowerJoy for the trip to the beach and the TV does not have composite video jacks...so everything has been MAME this weekend (except for the arcade cabs I listed above)
