Atari 8-bit computer:

Donkey Kong, Jr. - 15 minutes

(I will now publicly admit that this game doesn't suck; it's the 8-bit implementation that made me think that all these years. It's actually much better on the 7800. Live and learn.)

Donkey Kong - 30 minutes

(One of these days I'll make it to the cement factory level! Gawd, I'm terrible at jumping games. I made it to the first 75m level.)

Colony 7 (2600) - 10 minutes

How is Colony 7? It looks pretty good...

Its amazing :) Its sort of like Atlantis, but a lot funner. The graphics and sounds are also very nice.

Edit:

BTW, the ROM is posted here if you would like to try it out:

Y'know, people always bust my chops for saying "funner" instead of "more fun". "Funnest" is a word so if you have "fun" then you have to have "funner." I checked m-w.com and "funner" is listed as being under "fun."

Star Raiders (5200): 20 minutes

Galaxian (5200): 15 minutes

Missile Command (5200): 10 minutes

Pole Position (5200): 10 minutes

Defender (5200): 5 minutes

I played Missile Command using the joystick, then switched to the trak-ball. It's just so much better with the trak-ball! Then I decided to try Pole Position with the trak-ball. It's fun that way, but I really like playing that better with the joystick.

I sure do wish they'd made a steering wheel controller for the 5200 or Atari 8-bit computer.

Big-time Jaguar day today. We went through all of 'em except Vid Grid and Blue Lightning (the two that came with the CD player).

Alien vs. Predator: 5 minutes. Neither of us ever liked this game. Still don't.

Baldies: 120 minutes. This game is one of the reasons we keep the Jaguar around. :)

Battlemorph: 15 minutes. Have to make time to really get into this game some day.

Checkered Flag: 5 minutes. What a waste of time!

Cybermorph: 15 minutes. An old fave.

Evolution: Dino Dudes: 15 minutes. Another one we have to make time for some day.

Flip Out!: 20 minutes. We'd forgotten how much fun this one is.

Iron Soldier: 15 minutes. Yup, another one to make time for some day.

Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure: 20 minutes. Forgot how much fun this one is, too.

Super Burnout: 10 minutes. Grrr. Not as bad as Checkered Flag, but it's no Road Rash.

Tempest 2000: 30 minutes. Whee! Still a ton of fun.

Rayman: 30 minutes. Great, great game, and another reason we keep the Jag around.

Cannon Fodder: 30 minutes. Fun. :)
