yuppicide
If anyone is interested in purchasing the lamp off me? You would need to find/design your own shade. I could use the money this weekend to go to New York City. I haven't even used it yet. It's just been sitting there so far. I only tested it out. Works great. The fire button turns it on and off. The bottom can be opened up if something goes wrong. If you want to see it lit up in my apartment later I'll give you pics. I paid $105. You'll get it for $100 even, plus shipping. Shipping will be around $15 in the US + about $9 in packing supplies. I will need to find a box and styrofoam peanuts for protection. It will be insured and have tracking. I accept money by PayPal. You can PM me if you're interested.

Herbarius
Nice idea, looks great... However, when I first read the thread title I thought it would be about a small lamp you plug into your Atari 2600 controller port or something like that ^^
Zwackery
However, when I first read the thread title I thought it would be about a small lamp you plug into your Atari 2600 controller port or something like that ^^ This gives me an idea: it would be cool to see an Atari joystick done in clear plastic, and then put a rainbow LED in it, and then make the whole thing USB powered, like I see with Xmas trees and snowmen and such. You could even get really crazy and put in a sound chip that would play the "Have you played Atari today?" jingle when you press the fire button. yuppicide
I believe it's sold. Awaiting payment. The USB one sounds like a neat idea. I wish making molds wasn't so expensive, or I'd want a clear case for a 2600 system.

I agree, I want to make a slightly modified 2600 case that takes a miniITX motherboard, complete with slim line DVD-RW & mini power supply. (The legacy ports would be out of the back of the unit). I already have the design specs for it. The case itselfonly has to be 1/2" taller in order to work. (and the insides arranged accordingly, of course) I've been wanting to do this for a couple of years now. Bob
