the.golden.ax
So we have ten payments as of 2/26/09, this is is the start of the one week countdown for final payments. The project has begun. Please, if you have not done so yet, get your payments in, or make any requests for controller(s) now. There are 23 slots left as of this post. Cut off for buying these will end next week 3/05/09, or earlier if they are sold out. Book early to avoid dissapointment AX Edited February 26, 2009 by the.golden.ax

the.golden.ax
Good news! We have confirmation that the controllers will come with foil overlays. I had been working on this for a few days now, but didn't want to break the news too early. They will in fact have an overlay that looks like metal with an embossed Atari Fuji and name, plus rainbow stripe... just like the new mock up here: I've tried to create something that will match the look and style of the console itself, when on display together... Atari Dogs
Just saw this. So, both buttons work just like the 7800 controller then it can also be plugged into a 2600 and only one will work, right?

Yes, these will work with Atari 2600, 100%, or on a 7800 with each button doing the correct action for those 7800 titles that require it, just like a proline stick would. They have two buttons that both do the same thing on a 2600 (either button works as if it is the same single button when used with a 2600, any model). Thanks, AX Edited February 28, 2009 by the.golden.ax

the.golden.ax
Just a few quick updates. 1) A deal has been struck with a wholesaler, and I am waiting on a sample due Tuesday for NEW oem Nes pads, so these may end up being 100% new controllers. 2) The Foil maker has created a sample template from my art. They not offer dye cutting for small numbers like this job. 3) A solution for dye cutting the button and d-pad foils has been found, if it works, this will give a finer finish (not using a razor blade or exacto knife) done by a machine. Waiting on finished foils to come so I can test. 4) Plastics dye is on order. 5) Keep cases will be red, and are on order. 6) Keep case art is finished, and will be shown in the case upon delivery of the cases. 7) correct resisters found locally.
