+Allan
I was just playing this game on my c64 emulator and realized right away why they announced it but never came out with it on the 5200. It's an obvious rip-off of Mario Brothers. It's not as good either. There are a lot of better games for the c64 that would be great on the 5200 anyways. Agent X
I enjoyed Toy Bizarre quite a bit on the Commodore 64. Sure, it's obviously inspired by Mario Bros., but there are enough differences in the gameplay mechanics to give it its own distinctive appeal. Tempest
Toy Bizzare didn't come out for the 5200 because it was a late Activision release (84 I think), and the 5200 was pretty much dead at that point. Same reason Pastfinder never made it to the 5200. Tempest
LiquidPenguin
This may sound like a ridiculus question, but how the heck do you get past the intro screen to Toy Bizarre? I'm using CCS64 and I think I have everything mapped correctly. At least, it appears that way. Mind you, this is the first time I've actually managed to get this far using a C64 emulator. I tried once a long time ago but had no success due to some problematic hardware. Now the hardware has changed so I guess I managed to get the emulator working. I'll check out some other games and see what happens.
