PeteD
Cool I really don't think there will be a problem with it all. I'd rather compromise a little on the music than lose the flexibility of the timer IRQs but whatever happens it's a no brainer as far as I'm concerned. analmux
OK, here's a first try. I looked everywhere on the internet to find a good mid2mod converter (RMT only imports mod, no mid). Then I patched some headers in the generated .mod files, and I managed to import then into RMT. Then exported to .xex. (weird stuff: SID --> MID --> MOD --> (patch: change 4 byte header from M!K! to 4CHN) --> RMT/XEX) I'm happy it works now. It saves a lot of manual work. It's still 4 channel tunes (in standard 64 khz clocking). Should be converted to 15khz soon, and to channel 1,2,3 only. Then add some more 'modern' pokey instruments. http://www.phys.uu.nl/~bpos/FIST/
PeteD
Cool, Fist tunes on the A8 Some more fiddling around can be done with the sid2midi too if you notice any anomalies in the midi or mod. I just left it with the standard settings and it has a habbit of doing some weird stuff. Pete
