Wow! 99% of the ones I voted for are losing!

 

I went for Tapper, Tempest, Crazy Climber, Donkey Kong, Battlezone, Digdug, Robotron, and Tron.

 

I think Tapper is a really good game. Timber was awesome too.

 

Tempest is freakin awesome. I think it deserves the win by a long shot.

 

Donkey Kong I only really picked because I never really cared for Joust. My friend liked it a lot. I always flew across the screen to far.

 

I must say I'm more of a fan of Dig Dug II as opposed to the first one.

 

Space Invaders had great artwork on the cabinet. That game always spooked me out, but I went with Tron since I feel it's a much better game.

Alright, this is of no offence to Mr.Rhindle at all, but the showdown has been going on for 5+ months and we still have a ways to go. This is gonna easily, at this pace, go well into 2010. Now I understand Red is a busy man, and he has been running this "Poll of the Week" :ponder: for quite a while, perhaps its time to give someone else the reigns to this thing. Rhindle has had himself quite a good run, and I have much respect to him for in the past holding great video game tournaments each year, and having many great polls to boot. Am I alone in this accessment? I apologize Rhindle if I have upset you with this stance.

No. I agree, which is why I asked what the determining factor was for ending each round.

 

But, this is just for fun and I'm not going to create waves with Rhindle about it. If he's busy it's easily forgivable.

 

As you said with it dragging on and going until 2KX interest begins to wane. And I agree that perhaps someone else could pick this up.
