These are my nominations to get things started:

1976: Sea Wolf

1977: Canyon Bomber

1978: Space Invaders

1979: Astro Fighter

1980: Star Castle

1981: Lady Bug

1982: Pepper II

1983: Pole Position II

1984: 1942

1985: Dig Dug II

For tiebreakers, maybe we could do it as a poll? It might be a large one, but it might do the trick. Or you can just pick one at random perhaps?

Right now we have six years that have no multiple noms and only four players submitting noms. As it stands now, I am thinking to ask the four players to rank their nominations in order of preference and then flesh out the field in order of the season standings.

But, we'll see what happens over the next week...

One thing to note about Pole Position 2, for some strange reason I can't get the Atari version to run properly on my current version of MAME. Either I should downgrade to an earlier version, or look for an actual good dump (because I know in the past it's played fine in MAME.)

I run it on WolfMAME 106 w/o a prob...

Night Driver: 179 (If I could only get the overlay to work, then I'd find it a little easier.)

Canyon Bomber: 307 (It's interesting how this one translated well to the Atari 2600.)

Space Invaders: 2,320 (Not the best, but not bad.)

Asteroids: 5,000 (I could do better, I just wasn't playing on all my cylinders.)

Berzerk: 3,070 (This one also translated well to the Atari 2600. To be honest, both games look very similar with only a few minor differences.)

Thief: $39,740 (Joyriding is my highest crime level, but I was THIS close to getting another bonus car, but I crashed a cop car just as my invulnerability ran out!)

Pepper II: 20,580 (All this time I thought Pepper II was related to Burgertime. Oh well, this one isn't too bad.)

Pole Position II: 31,760 (Honestly, was setting this to the hardest settings really the best idea?)

Bullfight: 14,340 (No video bulls were harmed in any way during my scoring effort!)

Terra Cresta: 14,500 (I can't believe it's been at least 20 years since I last played this!)
