Homemade 4-port swtchbox

Anybody know how to make a 4-port switchbox? I've made a standard switchbox for my 2600, as well as many other electronic goodies. I'm not ignorant with ac and dc circuitry, but I don't want to assemble something and have it not work, or even worse, fry my 5200. It's not that original units aren't readily available for purchase; it's that I enjoy tinkering. If one can be made for significantly less than buying an original, I'd love to give it a shot!
