chromizone
if u find a copy of an old gyromite cart open her up and you will find a famicom gyromie game with a converter that by the way can be used with all famicom games ( i think) http://www.atarihq.com/tsr/odd/scans/adapter.html n there u go

MattyXB
ONLY Gyromite is guarranteed to have a converter inside!! Is this by all Gyromite games? PAL & NTSC ? Or only by some? And on the site stand too: Excitebike, Stack-Up, Hogan's Alley, Urban Champion can have this adapter. But have all them everytime or only a few? Bratwurst
A2600 do you have proof that Gyromite was the only NES game that had famicom converters in them? To MattyXB: My copies of ExciteBike, Ice Hockey and Gyromite do not have any of the converters inside them. This isn't to say that none of them do not, they'll just feel heavier than normal. benjam138
Ok, so I went home after work and opened up my Gyromyte cart and no converter. So, I went to Gamestop and bought 3 Gyromytes (all they had). None of them had the converter. I did take my Gyromyte with me to Gamestop and I didn't really feel any weight difference. Is there a considerable weight difference? I gonna try all the other Gamestops in my area and will hopefully find one. If not, Charin if you could get me one, I would sure appreciate it. Also, I was thinking what other games might have it. These are the games I think DO NOT have it: Baseball (Japanese version has different teams) Kung Fu (Was called Spartan-X in Japan) Here are the possible games: Hogan's Alley Duck Hunt Golf 10 Yard Fight (Not sure if there is a Japanese version of the game) Clu Clu Land Stack Up Wild Gunman Gumshoe Wrecking Crew Mach Rider Excitebike Tennis Soccer Golf Ice Climber Pinball Baloon Fight Urban Champion Donkey Kongs 1, Jr.,3, Math Popeye Mario Bros. I think it would be cool to find out which games do have the converter and which do not. I believe I have listed all of the first run games. If anyone can count any out as not having the converter, than by all means post it here.
