kool kitty89
In terms of "long" as in sheer play time, it would have to be either an adventure game, RPG, or a long multi-tour flight/space sim type game. (especially with full expansions) I think I've got games that I've gone well past 20 hours of play time on all of those categories, actually I'd say well past 40 hours in many cases, probably a lot more than that. Some of them I still haven't finished. (though in the case of some games like X-Wing, a ton of play time was not doing active mission stuff but playing individual bonus missions or practice stuff as a kid, and also a lot of that is having to replay failed missions, or backtrack after making a mistake in an adventure game, or just getting stuck at som point and trying a whole bunch of wrong stuff) In several cases I didn't end up playing straight through myself but shared a file with my brother and we traded off. But as for games most recently completed: Portal for PC. (finally got it for the free steam offer a couple months ago) Don't remember how long it took though, I'd have to check my last save. The_Laird
I played Raiden on the Jaguar for the first time in ages yesterday and completed it as usual
lisalover1
I just finished Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes yesterday. I had never beaten the original PS1 version of MGS, but I have played it, and the difference was just night and day.
vrocko
It's not a retro game but Camron's Avatar on the RDA side for the 360. Lame ending. The credits lasted longer than the ending did.

Austin
Castlevania Bloodlines on the Genesis. Stormed straight through it on Normal.. Unfortunately, Expert mode is now kicking my ass. I think this is the only Castlevania game where putting it on a higher difficulty level actually makes it more difficult.
