jhd Posted January 23, 2018 Share Posted January 23, 2018 I can remember in about the early-1990s reading back issues in the University Library (I never subscribed BITD; there was insufficient Coco content to justify the per issue cost). The 1980s CES reports, in particular, are wonderful reading even today. There was so much coverage of vapourware, especially proposed/announced 2600 games and hardware that never actually existed. The staff writers did not hesitate to openly mock the most egregious offenders.
