Unknown if this was a glitch or intended effect (because it is easily altered so it doesn't happen ala Jungle Hunt). It DOES happen in the original arcade game, tho...so MAME is accurately emulating the effect. The first one I killed in the second level gave me 300! Depends on how many you've killed consecutively (<4=100,4+=200) and whether you struck when it's jaws are open (add 100 to previous amount).
