MegaManFan
Aw c'mon, at least use the 7800 version.
Flojomojo
BTW, even though it doesn't look anything like the original, how did Xenophobe play as compared to the arcade game? The 7800 version isn't bad. It plays excellent (still my #1 favorite 2600 game). Very addictive gameplay, and excellent graphics. Impressive with what they could do with one button. The 7800 version is nice -- I like it better than the flickery NES version. The absolute definitive version of Xenophobe, in my opinion, is the Atari Lynx version. I think it's better than the arcade original.

Nukey Shay
I don't think that you can grab stuff from Mame.net Try Mame.dk or Klov.com
Nukey Shay
The reason that some appear to work (to you) is because the computer is grabbing the images from your internet cache when this page displays them (which is cleared from the cache under the settings you have). ZylonBane
I don't think I've seen Frogger yet. Or Tempest. Or Ms. and Jr. Pac-Man. Shame about the image sizes. Tiny arcade/huge 2600 makes the VCS look much worse than it should.
Flojomojo
Because of the different sizes you posted, some of those almost resemble zoomed-in details of the arcade original.
NE146
Weee what a great thread I wonder if Berzerk can be hacked to get more mazes.. or at least to replace the current four. ("Berzerk 2.. now with 4 new and different mazes!") By the way God-zilla.. it's 2003... Even though it's not the original, we should use the Arcade Galaxian hack as the basis for the 2600 Galaxian screenshot
NE146
Shame about the image sizes. Tiny arcade/huge 2600 makes the VCS look much worse than it should. Hmmm if you enable HTML in your post then this works great: <img width="320" src="/2600/screenshots/s_Galaxian_1.png"> But is there a way to use the much simpler tags to resize an image? Tempest
Just for the record the arcade Krull and the 2600 Krull are not the same game so it's not fair to compare them. Tempest
Godzilla
tempest: yea, I know they aren't the same game, but the first scene of the 2600 game was obviously inspired by the arcade game. They both have a very similar look/play and feel. kinda like super sprint/sprint master, sprint 1/indy 500 etc
Godzilla
zylon, yea, i lost an ENTIRE page of these to an accidental hit of the back button and have trying to remember which ones i lost (like frogger, etc.) thanks to ne1, ive htmlzied em a bit w/ universal width. is that better for you?
