edintv
And $601.02 for a sealed Masters of the Universe The Power of He-Man box variation eBay Auction -- Item Number: 230658410197 DAMN I'm sure we will see this one relisted. The price was at $143 when I placed a bid. I bid $150, $160, $170 and then looked at the bid history. There were still several bids above me. I placed my first bid at 09:39:52 PDT and then at 09:43:46 PDT already more "protective" bids were placed, without the other guy even being outbid. So I placed several more bids, just to see how high it will go. Everytime I made a bid, another bid was made too. At 11:24:32 PDT I then placed an other bid just to immediately see counter bids at 11:26:03 PDT. When I finally bid $600, there were still 3 bids above me. I've stopped there, because the risk of actually winning it became too high. So this private listing stinks to hell. Also several of the other recent Intellivision auctions were fishy. I wonder why eBay even still has "private listings". You can't see the other bidder names anymore. So private listings are only good for sellers bidding on their own items. And that's what the guy did. The seller probably expected some higher bids in the last seconds. He haven't noticed I was already just making fun of him. P.S.: Just in case that a real buyer bought it, he deserved to pay $601 for his stupidity. Like a year a go, There´s was plenty of those games in Venezuela. One of the reasons to start the lookout of the Famous Warehouse, is to get He-Man and the Ecs who the local sellers refuse to sell me. and then they where depleted. But I think there´s still chance to get them we only are getting in the surface, thee´s like 6 layers of boxes to look for.

boxpressed
I should receive all of this some time next week: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 230660033110 The boxes look pretty rough but the last photo was the cincher. Plus, this is a Sylvania model, which doesn't show up very often. Edited August 20, 2011 by boxpressed

boxpressed
Thanks, guys! I think the BIN was live for about a half hour before I pulled the trigger. Now I just have to hope that everything is in the box and in the same shape as in the photos. I've been concentrating my collecting on Atari lately, but Intellivision really defined my gaming as an early adolescent. I remember selling my 2600 to buy the Intellivision (which reigned until the Colecovision Christmas). @cmart: I mentioned this in another thread, but whatever happened with that Odyssey 2 auction with the Intellivision cartridges? I was planning on bidding, but I couldn't risk coming up empty on the test cart.

The Mud Buggies looks like it was one of the better boxes, that'll definitely make it a great buy, the rest is just gravy. As for the O2 auction, that was an INTV test cart, fully functioning! boxpressed
Oh, good. I'm glad it went to someone who could appreciate it. Was it a homemade label, or did it come that way from Mattel?

Hard to say for sure, but I think it came that way from Mattel. It's one I already have though so I might look to sell or trade it at some point... +thegoldenband
Congratulations, boxpressed! This may be a strange thing to say, but I was pleased to see that your auction came up when I was on the road and without Internet access. That way I can wholeheartedly congratulate you without a twinge of "Oh, man, if only I'd..."
Andre81
These crazy auctions make me laugh. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 230648183680 Well, *Tripple* Action must be a very rare one Yah, I love these, "I have $7 worth of games that I'd like to sell for $125" Someone got it for $1 Seems like a huge depreciation. And some day GoAtari will also figure out that his $350k inventory is only worth 1/125 of what he thought... eBay Auction -- Item Number: 230660481923

I was following it because he had started it out somewhere in the $75 range as a Buy it Now, a real ridiculous far fetched price. After that failed a couple times he finally did it as an auction. And if i remember right the first time through it didn't receive any bids at all. This time it received 2. Off topic, so many auctions that i'm following i always forget about when they finally end. So many items i could of got dirt cheap if i hadn't forgotten.

Its getting to the point where I seriously want to start contacting sellers just to say "there's no chance in hell you're going to get what you're asking for the pile of junk you're selling", but then I realize I would spend my whole day doing that because I see so much stupidity and unrealistic pricing. yet, I'm still tempted.
