Xybots

Run your human through mazes with a 3-D over-the-shoulder view. Shoot tons of nasty robots that are out to get you. Exit each level to progress to a new maze, with boss levels and the option to buy upgrades between levels.

* No continues

* Solo play

 

 

"No continues" is documented in the HSC rules so that would be redundant. I always thought "solo play" was a given.

 

 

 

 

 

* Warping past levels allowed? <--- up for debate.

 

I can't remember from playing this on Lynx or not if there is warping but it will be allowed as precedent set by other games like Crystal Castles. I'll add these to the notes.

I wish I had my arcade cab still...

 

I loved this game, it was way ahead of its time. I averaged 100k and my peak game was like 140k or so. I was gunning for the TG score, but that guy is just nuts about that game. Its an insane score...

 

 

Here is an old score of mine, this is NOT for the HSC, but this is right from my cab. :)
