Re: the a/v cables... is the only way to get stereo sound out of the headphone port on the model I? That's how we did it back in the day. Yep, the model 1 only has stereo sound through the headphone jack. The model 2 has stereo sound out of the AV port, but most model 2s sound like crap due to the audio circuitry.
