patbb
Rob: Do you have any tips for us? Questions: Is there any use for the fire button? (It can be defined in the settings) What are the special items for? only points? (knife, hammer, ...) Thanks.

VectorGamer
Alright I'm streaming now but will archive the broadcast...not promising anything spectacular And no apologies for the camera angle - the camera sucks If this isn't the right link then just search for The Retrocade channel on UStream http://www.ustream.tv/broadcaster/7010971
VectorGamer
470,860 I broadcasted this live but it recorded audio only despite showing the video in the window. I thought video was on by default but there was a radio button down below that had Audio only selected - that was after the fact that I noticed it when trying to figure out how to save the video. Dammit! No wonder no one was watching it - people were probably saying "dumb ass check the video radio button." Well, 5h1t you'd think that would be the default once you allow the app access to your camera... If anyone has any doubts of my score here's a screenshot of the high score table. I did continue playing a few games after that score which is why you see the 31K score in the upper left. Stay tuned...I might have time to broadcast again before the HSC is over and if not just subscribe to my channel and there's a thread on the forums here for "Retrocade Impromptu Streaming" BTW: I did initially break the record with a score of 382K but the next game is when I got the 470K. My first few games I played were crappy - like 30K. If you guys were watching you probably thought I was lying about my scores! But, for me it's about rhythm and I had to adjust my game play cuz I was a bit slow today. So, once I got in the groove, I finished with 50K, then 60K, then 89K (yeah - 1K short of an extra guy) then 100+, 200+ etc. Edited July 23, 2011 by rmaerz

VectorGamer
Season's over, Final Standings posted. Congrats to our champ patbb. Pat, I need for you to send me you double header picks to kick off season 4 which will begin sometime in August...I'll post the start date tomorrow. In the interim, please replenish the game requests and I'll check out some of those games that were proposed to the Do Not Play list. We have some time to finalize the rules for next season as well. BTW, remember in the offseason the Arcade/MAME Summer Showdown is an option to get your fill. See the link in my signature.
