NightSprinter
Heh, on that first video I for some reason expected an STE animated intro to either "Danger Mouse" or "Count Duckula" (I remember that tune being before both intros in the 80s). Other than that, it looks quite nice. I'll need to get something bigger than my SH-204 so I can turn my STE into a very productive Atari. It fits perfect since nearly all my ST games were from the UK...
NightSprinter
Funny how I recognized the Thames intro so easily, despite being from the US. Then again, I watched a lot of those two cartoons on Nickelodeon back then (as Duckula and BanannaMan aired Saturday evening for some reason). Any suggestions on how to arrange it all for those of us stuck on a 20MB drive for the STE?
macgoo
What would be great is a mod to make the icons in 320x200 a lot smaller, ie half the width and height
+Stephen
Sorry for the terribly long delay in trying this out. I cannot get it to work on my absolute minimum spec 520STFM running TOS 1.00. I don't get any errors, the loading dialog shows, then it goes to the standard desktop. I did notice one thing changed. The file viewer now displays red text rather than black. +DarkLord
Hmm, I can't remember what he said the minimum specs were - might go back to the start of the thread and see...

That's interesting..!!! I don't think that anyone made the test for TOS 1.00, so I did what I could with an emulator. Can you tell me exactly how do you run it? What are the files on the disk ? (from floppy? from HD?) Guillaume.

(from floppy? from HD?) Guillaume. Sure. I am using an HxC floppy emulator. I have created a blank disk (720kB) and copied all the files from the ZIP to the root of this floppy. There are no directories on the disk. I double click the "COLORSTE.PRG" file. I see two lines of text indicating the file is loading (name and date, etc.). Then it just goes back to the standard desktop. If I then double click the "README.TXT" file, the text is red, not black.

Hi, COLORSTE doesn't support TOS 1.00. But ST DESK does! So, you have to go on me page: http://gtello.pagesperso-orange.fr/colorste.htm Download ST DESK.ZIP (bottom of the page) and unzip everything on a floppy image, and try again! Let me know if it's ok then... Guillaume.
