So I took a picture of my 24,750 points just after I lost for the first time my big kong. Then I could keep playing even after the game shows "Game Over". My kong returned and I made more points up to 48,150. After this score, the kong returned again, but I lost the score. I'm not sure wich score counts, because I'm not sure when the game is over! And this seems a good time to ask if continues are accepted for the submitted scores. Updating If the highest score obtained in the screen counts, I've made a 57,750 right now, but lost the picture, my cam wasn't ready... Continues aren't allowed at HSC's, though with Rampage it's more confusing to follow. Settings: Default N/A Choose any Monster! You can use up your lives, do NOT use continues. According to the rules Jacob gently made clear I didn't pick continues, only used the 3 lives oyama spoke about. In the manual there are two good tips: 1) jumping is faster than walking 2) you can climb a building pressing up while jumping. I add a third, eat people from the 2nd floor simply pressing up when punching from the street, don't need to climb the building. Preveously I said one can eat people in 2nd floor just pressing up, now I discovered that it is possible to eat from 3rd floor with a jump. That's an easy way to recover energy. I've made 219k using only 1 life, although Jacob made clear it was possible to use your lives, just the continues were forbidden. Tank can't cross the river, left building has no window, because you don't want to go there... And right building has the 2nd and 3rd floor intact, just to grab those inocent soldiers from the street... That's the strategy I was talking about. Just with minor adjustments for some fases, keep the 2nd and 3rd floor intact. I didn't say before because I didn't want to revel to much. I hope you still have fun with the game.
