Rev
Then these guys would *maybe* stop asking SO much for a 50.00 game. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 221062185793 Intelligentvision? Left Turn Only? Elektronite? Anyone?

Rev
You must have seen the FB post between Willy and Joe Actually I didn't believe it or not....i was searching ebay again and seen that guy re-list 4Tris again and made this thread......then I went to FB and was looking around and just seen they were talking about it from the first time i posted that auction on FB......but I can see why you would think that. Anyway, Someone needs to re-issue 4Tris and Stonix. I believe there are alot of newer collectors since they were originally released back in the mid 2000's and who REALLY wants to pay so much for them. You will always have the hardcore collectors that get every little variation but there are alot of people that would just like a copy of the game to play. I could be wrong though....it dont happen very often. :P

With the influx of newer collectors I would imagine a re-release would go over well especially those two titles as they have a broad appeal and high replay value And obviously those prices are not being met as it has been for sale for a while... I would buy one right now if it was available at the 50-75 range, but no more than that !
Rev
Yeah, I have both and they are both great games to play. Im sure more people want them, and since the CC3 in no longer available, someone would have to emulate or buy a CC3 (if they ever come up on ebay again) or pay super high prices! sqoon
Anyway, Someone needs to re-issue 4Tris and Stonix. 100% agreed. So when can I buy my copies?

I would buy one right now if it was available at the 50-75 range, but no more than that ! I think 4-Tris is a great game, but re-issuing it may not appease those rabid e-bay sellers. That 4-Tris release has the distinct quality of being the very first Intellivision home-brew game. That renders it a very special item. Releasing it again may sell well (though perhaps not as good as Space Patrol, as Joe mentioned in the other thread), but it won't remove the cachet of the original one, especially with low serial numbers. -dZ. Intymike
after all it had already 4 releases. In the end there will be 10% new collectors buy the game and the other 90% are complete collectors that must have this new edition.

Interesting percentage perception .....but a new release would be exciting to the community only if it had new levels? Now that would be great. In the end there will be 10% new collectors buy the game and the other 90% are complete collectors that must have this new edition. As a somewhat newbie, I would be part of the 10% that missed the original (and I'm certainly not willing to risk my wife's wrath by spending $400 on a game!). I would buy one if re-released ... Rev
Here is the FB post mentioned. https://www.facebook.com/joe.zbiciak/posts/153994951403180?notif_t=story_reshare I only have a FB account for my Intellivision Revolution website. I kinda made it to combat the 'official' one where all they do is announce birthdays and deaths and sell t-shirts. I try to post any and all current happenings in the Intellivision world. Here is the FB page i made. https://www.facebook.com/IntellivisionRevolution And this one. +JasonlikesINTV
My two cents...I'm a newer collector and will buy homebrews all day at $50. D2K will be my first pricier game. I'm holding out for the full version and hoping that box/overlays don't add too much extra. As for 4-Tris, I would welcome a new game for $50 (maybe $60 with new levels, CIB w/ overlays). Same for Stonix. I'm also planning on buying Minehunter, Super Space Patrol, and (of course) Christmas Carol. $350 does seem too high for the 4-tris, as evidenced by it's lack of a buyer at both $399 or $350. No longer available HBs should top out around $100. Any more would be out of my collecting league.
