Some of those games look familiar. :ponder:

Ha ha! (Same with Bad Brad.) All the games starting from Jinks down to Super Breakout, right above that controller, were trades, except for about five of the ones in the lower left hand corner, starting with Kaboom, which are the only ones that I bought from my friend in '88 that I'm keeping, plus I've got my other box of games from when I started out along with those.

Dang.. What I wouldn't give to have your collections, guys.

Man.. All I have is just an Atari (Lost the power adapter. Grrr), NES, Dead NES with ROB and accessories (Some broken), SNES, N64, GameCube, Xbox, and games for all of them.

Aside from that, I have a few Macs. I like collecting those more than games.

But I lost my camera and haven't been collecting lately. Soon I'll get back into the eBay thing.

I KNEW I should have bought that Jaguar, TurboGrafix 16 and Sega Genesis they had at the Toy Liquidators back in 1998. I didn't realize at the time they'd be collectable. They were new in box. Just leftovers from the end of life. WAHH!!!!

Like your sig says, yeah, you think different, all right :)

Pretty much all game systems are going to have at least one title that makes them 'collectable', especially systems that produced over 800 games for it's library, like the Genesis.

I did not know that the Namco Museum was out for the PS2. I have all 5 of the Namco Museum games for the PS1 (that was an adventure to get 2, 4, and 5...especially number 2). How does it compare to the collection for the first Playstation?

Well I may have to get a jag now, looks like a cool system

The Jaguar is an awesome system. Most of the games I took a picture of are good and common cheap games( except for BattleSphere Gold, Worms, and SkyHammer). If sometime you do decided to get a Jaguar, make sure the first game you get is Tempest 2000. You'll thank me later :D.

Definitely. I have the Jaguar and that is one of the best games. I also have it for the PC but it is more fun to play on the Jaguar since I don't have to wait for the Jaguar to boot up like I do for the PC.

My Graph is of unique titles no label variations or doubles :)

and comes to 1402 titles :) probably a few more as i probably forgot to list a few in the Cart Commander :)

i didn't know the CDI had that meny games for it, how meny are good though?

that graph is of the Philips CD-i movies and games, i didnt seperate the games from the movies back then, i think i only have about 40 actual games

Hotel Mario is good

one good game in Arcade Classics, i think there is only 2 games on it

Defender of the Crown - easier then the NES version

Micro Machines - is cool but i only got the sampler with 3 levels

Mutant Rampage : Bodyslam - kinda like Double Dragon

these are the ones that i can remember playing the most, and i havent updated my CDi games in years so i dont know what i have anymore :)

I was under the impression that CD-I units have suicide batteries in them...hence why I've stayed away from the platform. Theoretically, if one allows this battery to die, the system's firmware will terminate and the unit will be rendered obsolete. From what I've read, this battery is not easy to change and many collectors simply buy another CD-I unit instead.

Is this true?

sorry we've got crossed wires here, i wasn't after a list, i was just wondering why you have games in your collection which you class as not very good?

ahh i see now

well most of my games were bought because the description

sounded good but then the game play sucked

(like Arcade classics 2 of the 3 games were horrible translations) :)

or i saw screen shots online and bought it

i had most of these games before i got a gamepad controller for the cdi

which makes a ton of difference, i hated playing hotel Mario with those stupid remote sticks

ive never heard of this problem,

i tried a couple of different searches but found nothing on this subject, do you remember where you read that?

the Cdi 220 i found in the trash is still alive and kicking, it used to be plugged in all the time, untill i got a different one
