stc2009
My crusade has ended. I am satisfied. Now this thread can die peacefully..... Ahhhh, I think the "50 copies" has scarpered that wish
Chuck D. Head
I must be getting old, because i just can't keep up with things around here anymore. I will just have to trust that the Secret Keepers have the brotherhoods interests covered here. I hope it's jello night.

intvdave
Poor Rev. Someone put the fear of god in him. Rev, did someone threaten to take your collection, or hoard, from you? (hahahhahahaha)
intvdave
The reason is that they were clearly released in violation of copyright rules, but they're absolutely top quality. They look exactly like other activision box games and, I am sorry to say, they are consequently much better, as design, then most of other homebrew boxes. Alex, why do you say that the Robot Rubble and League of Light designs are better than most of the other homebrew boxes? What makes them better? What could be done to future homebrew boxes to make them just as good or better than RR and LOL? Roger designed Stonix, Minehunter (2004), 4-Tris, (2005) and SG&R (2005), RR, and LOL. Do you consider these the best homebrew boxes? Do you have the 50 copies Willy is talking about?
Rev
The current intelligentvision and the elektronite boxes are both great quality. And both are designed and have nice art and layout. Alex must be talking about Atari and colecovision homebrews. Also, if Alex doesn't have the missing 50 games, roger must still have them. He should come out of hiding and sell them. Forget him trying to make his intellivision.org website, it is no longer needed.
intvdave
Alex must be talking about Atari and colecovision homebrews. I do not think this is the case. He would not be saying that he was sorry to make the statement. He could be happy to say that all Intellivision homebrews are better. Has anyone tried getting a hold of Roger? We need to help keep those prices down by getting those 50 games released.
Rev
The last anyone has heard of roger I think is when Cmart bought that huge lot of overlay stuff on eBay. You are right, he needs to make them available to people or something.
Rev
If that is the case, Alex must be smoking something. In my opinion all the current boxes are of great quality and design.
intvdave
We need Inspector Rev! The focus has now shifted to where are the 50 games. Here are facts we know: - Roger and Chris sold RR and LOL - Joe programmed the game boards - In 2005, chips were hard to come by making it difficult to produce game boards. - Willy had contact with Chris at CGE The unknown: - Did Willy's contact with Chris give him info on the games? So maybe Chris has the 50 games? - Did Roger make the overlays for the DK series? If so, Willy would have contact with Roger and maybe Roger has the 50 games? - Why are there 50 games still available? Maybe the shells are missing the game boards? Will Joe or Willy program more game boards? - When will these 50 games be available for purchase to help keep the price down?

Intymike
If that is the case, Alex must be smoking something. In my opinion all the current boxes are of great quality and design. All current homebrew boxes are outstanding (got just 2 perfect ECS games ). But LOL and RR are the only games with boxes in Activision style. That makes them to a league of their own. http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/169543-what-style-of-cart-do-you-have-for-robot-rubble-league-of-light/
stc2009
New Case for you Rev. Who the hell is dumb enough to buy VGA rated games at such inflated prices? eBay Auction -- Item Number: 190765686885 And is that sticky tape on the box inside the plastic cover? Albert
And is that sticky tape on the box inside the plastic cover? Looks like they have a plastic bag over the plastic shell, and the tape is on the outside of the bag. ..Al
