+davidcalgary29
I think that eBay should suspend all "Space Shuttle" or Columbia-related auctions until Wednesday. This would certainly show a little respect for the victims and their families. It's nice to see that people want to commemmorate / reflect on the lives of the Columbia crew, I don't think that buying items in an auction is appropriate right now. And spending $1K + on "an official STS-107 patch!" right now is simply tacky.
as_the_gavel_falls
I think it was there all along. I had a few Space Shuttle carts up and they canceled all the auctions. I had two which were sold buy-it-now earlier and will be donating the gross receipt to an appropriate charity as I don't want the money; it was obviously from people looking for space shuttle related items as the buy-it-now's had been up since tuesday. MrRetroGamer
This is at the top of that auction: THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL ITEM, YOU WILL RECIEVE NOTHING UPON PAYMENT Yeah, so what? It's pretty sick one way or another. Now is not the time for jokes about this type of stuff, is it??????
as_the_gavel_falls
I was just saying it was weird to have that at the top of the auction...

Nukey Shay
The thing that I don't get is why wasn't the page pulled off completely (i.e. "invalid item") Looks like evilbay wants the negative publicity that goes along with the auction. No such thing as bad press, I guess. REALLY->
CPUWIZ
Maybe he ended it himself, that way it wouldn't disappear.
