Gazoo
Jon's cartridge will be able to run RXB when I get my part done. Alternately one of the existing 16k carts with an AVR grom slapped down on top will also fit the bill. Agreed that an RXB run would be nice! If someone wants to layout and manufacture the custom cart, I don't mind providing a dedicated AVR/GROM for it, since that much code already works (it's really only the ability to program the chip in the console that I haven't got to.) Well, if you're going to do that, I'd prefer to have an XB v2.5 cart. +Ksarul
Actually, I think I still have about 10 of the earlier version of the 512K board that use the original version of your AVR code, Tursi. Those would probably work for this type of solution. . . Tursi
Probably would. But the 1284P is way oversized and much more expensive than you need for either of those carts, a smaller AVR would be about half the cost. yell0w_lantern
I'm confused. Will this be for sale or DIY? Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/205222-nano-peb-and-cf7/page/2/#findComment-2662053 Share on other sites

If they don't, we could keep on with the 1284 boards just to keep everything the same. I've been itching to try RXB in a cart Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/205222-nano-peb-and-cf7/page/2/#findComment-2662367 Share on other sites
RXB
Well make a RXB Cart and I will buy one as my PGRAMs do not work as my Pbox is flaky. (I suck at hardware.) Tursi
I'm confused. Will this be for sale or DIY? So far neither, nobody has stepped up to do it. globeron
I am still troubleshooting the (Serial or Parallel ?) port on the nanoPEB-F18 v1 Chipset is TMS9902NL Power adapter is 5V (600 mA) (I cannot do List "SIO") I/O Error 00 but I can do List "RS232.BA-9600.DA=8.PA=N", but no result at the PC side (I tried already resetting using DosBox, Tera Term, baudrates, buffers, etc.) normal and x-over cables (Serial). but also I can do LIST "PIO" seems to work (I read on the other forum that this should not be possible) Questions 1. It is or serial or parallel correct ? (but now I do not know what it is, it has a 9-pin male D-plug) 2. if there is wrong software running on the nanoPEB, can this be upgraded ? 3. Are there any other troubleshooting steps ? Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/205222-nano-peb-and-cf7/page/2/#findComment-3234838 Share on other sites
Opry99er
I have never used the serial on a nano... But it should be a serial port, not PIO. From my understanding, CF7s are PIO, nanos are serial. This is 2-3 year old knowledge however... He may be making PIO nanos nowadays. +Ksarul
There are two versions of the Nano--one that uses the standard TI PIO and a 9902, and the other using SIO and a 16545 UART. The 9902 version came later. . . +arcadeshopper
imho he left PIO in the DSR by mistake OR it points to RS232 if it's a NANOPEB it's serial if it's a CF7 (with 25pin connector) its parallel Greg 2 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/205222-nano-peb-and-cf7/page/2/#findComment-3235803 Share on other sites
