Nukey Shay
Threads are not being bumped up on the page after being replied to...in fact, the replies are not being shown updated at all (?) For example, this thread currently shows 2 replies after refreshing the off-topic forum...but contains many more than that. Looks like it might be affecting a few other threads as well. http://www.atariage.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=20641
MacGurl
I've noticed it too...a topic will say there's only 1 or 2 replies, but when you go into it, there's 20. And they're not going back up to the top when replied to.
MacGurl
I don't know if you guys are getting the same message as I am, but when I post, I'm getting a message from the web browser that the page could not be opened, however the post is still going through. Is that why you've been double posting all night Nukey?
Nukey Shay
Nope...just in the past hour or so. The screen displays a dialogue that says GENERAL ERROR and has "Couldn't get mail server response codes" in the window. When I go back into the thread, it's double posted. Strange thing about that last post (in the above thread) you made MacGurl...it showed an edit when it was last in the thread (?)

Albert
Nope...just in the past hour or so. The screen displays a dialogue that says GENERAL ERROR and has "Couldn't get mail server response codes" in the window. When I go back into the thread, it's double posted. Can you take a screenshot of this and send it to me? Thanks, ..Al

Nukey Shay
Nope...I can't run Outlook on this crappy machine. Perhaps MacGurl can, seeing how she's getting the same error. BTW I'm running on cable (RoadRunner)

oesii
My cable modem connection is choking up trying to send private messages tonight, haven't posted yet, so I'll tell you if I get a freaky response now. The pm's I sent seem to be going through (not sure yet) but I get a 'General error' can not receive server codes'?
Albert
The pm's I sent seem to be going through (not sure yet) but I get a 'General error' can not receive server codes'? Can you try it again? I just restarted the smtp (outgoing mail) server.. Thanks! ..Al
MacGurl
I just tried to send a test PM and it's still getting the error message. The message is going through to the other person though.
Albert
I am getting the problem also when I send PMs, which result in notification emails being sent. I can post to this thread without problems since no one is probably "watching" it (which causes an email to get sent when there are new posts). I will probably take the forums down shortly while I investigate the problem. ..Al
oesii
Yep, I just resent a PM 30 seconds ago and it seems back to normal.
+Sauron
CPUWIZ, just because you're on a T1 doesn't mean you're superior to the rest of us. Ok, maybe it does...
CPUWIZ
It's not a T1, it's bastard fast cable access.
+Sauron
Just wait until your neighborhood gets some people in it...then it'll be bastard slow cable access.
