sh3-rg
Dr Typo uses SMAC and SLN and seems to be keeping them maintained these days. Where does he post the builds, on his site?
JagChris
He only has his latest sln on his site. The SMAC is posted everywhere. He should post both on his site. I'll send him a PM. Latest SMAC version http://atariage.com/forums/topic/196185-minor-bug-fix-in-smac/ Latest SLN version http://perso.numericable.fr/drtypo/jaguar/sln102.zip Where does he post the builds, on his site?
JagChris
Also the Vlink that Franke Wille made for the Jaguar has all the sources available. It does not have all the switch compatibility with SMAC and MADMAC but it can be updated to do so. And it has the cool ability to convert a bunch of different object file formats into one format at the end. Very handy for people using Skunkboard if people want to debug in elf. LinkoVitch
It turns out that rmac is not fully compatible with mac. The manual for U-235 says to use this which works for MADMACs Mac -fb -u main.s But rmacs expects something like this: rMac -fb -u -o main.o main.s Just working on next release for the SE and working through the manual. I tried building with rmac and rln simply exchanging them for the names and keeping the options as they are in the manual currently and I received no errors, and produced a working COF file... Perhaps the version of rmac/rln you have is an older one? I am using rmac v1.2.9 and rln 1.2.2

+Gemintronic
You could probably install WINE and re-package the LiveCD.
Shamus
RMAC & RLN have native Linux versions, as well as Windows versions. Unlike SMAC/SLN, they are 64-bit clean and will build and run correctly on 64-bit architectures.

swapd0
Where can I get jcp source code for osx? Or a version compiled for mavericks. I've downloaded it but it doesn't work because it needs libusb-0.1.4.dylib and that version is too old to be installed in mavericks, I've a newer version from mac ports. JagChris
Is it not on Boz's site? Where can I get jcp source code for osx? Or a version compiled for mavericks. swapd0
I've downloaded the jcp source code but it doesn't compile on osx, I'm fixing it to use the libusb-1.0 from mac ports.
swapd0
Done! It's a 64bit console app, sorry it looks like the libusb.dylib it's a 64bit library and I get linker error when I try to compile a 32bit app. You'll need libusb from mac ports. https://www.dropbox.com/s/lz0k56upsuux9p9/jcp.zip
JagChris
Hopefully future issues of SMAC and SLN will address the compiling issue. Have not heard any reports myself yet of the 32 bit bins included with the Belboz SDKs not working on 64bit systems. Or any issues with Typos updates. RMAC & RLN have native Linux versions, as well as Windows versions. Unlike SMAC/SLN, they are 64-bit clean and will build and run correctly on 64-bit architectures. +CyranoJ
As far as I can comprehend, he's talking about JCP, not SMAC or SLN. Good work, building a mac version, swapd0 - more the merrier Hopefully future issues of SMAC and SLN will address the compiling issue. Have not heard any reports myself yet of the 32 bit bins included with the Belboz SDKs not working on 64bit systems. Or any issues with Typos updates.
Shamus
Hopefully future issues of SMAC and SLN will address the compiling issue. Have not heard any reports myself yet of the 32 bit bins included with the Belboz SDKs not working on 64bit systems. Or any issues with Typos updates. SMAC/SLN, while you can compile them on a 64-bit platform, will not work without major refactoring of the code--the way it's architected is just plain wrong, and it's a minor miracle that it works at all. Also, RMAC/RLN are being actively maintained and have a bug tracker. If I were developing for the Jaguar, I know which tools I'd be betting on.
