the.golden.ax
Does anyone know what the correct part number for 4K roms would be at mouser. I find their site difficult to search, and hoped perhaps someone had ordered there in the past. I'd prefer their site over others since I have a credit line with them. {edit} or if it's just cheaper to get something larger and only use 4k... Also, somewhat related, are there sources of new PCBs anywhere still? CPU maybe? The URL wasn't working and I didn't want to pester anybody with a PM until I'm ready to buy. This is just at a price / research stage really. Thanks, AX
+nanochess
The common number for 4K EPROM is 2732/2732A/M2732A, though I think them could be obsolete. Alternatively you could search for PROM. The E indicates erasable with ultraviolete light, without E means it is programmable only one time. Other common numbers: 2764/27C64 = 8K 27128/27C128 = 16K 27256/27C256 = 32K 27512/27C512 = 64K
yllawwally
Jameco has some eproms. http://www.jameco.co..._10001_40125_-1 You can use most EEPROMS or EPROMS that are not serial. It doesn't seem easy to find blank pcb's anymore. But if you were making only a few, you could scavenge from an old game.
