Serious
Hi everyone, I would like to share photos of my collection in this thread. Most of my collecting is for the Atari 2600, and my acquisitions are primarily focused on replacing the lower quality items I have with higher quality ones (boxes, replacing carts with poor labels, filling in missing manuals, etc). As I replace items in my collection, or upgrade them with higher quality duplicates, I will update the items shown in this thread. I also have an Odyssey 2 collection, and most of what you will see in this collection are things I have held onto since childhood. Many of my loose carts were stolen a few years ago, but I am the original owner of almost all of the boxes. My collecting has recently begun to branch out in acquiring titles by my favorite Atari 2600 publishers (Activision and Imagic) for other systems. My postings below will be organized primarily by publisher, and I will add new messages to the thread over time covering various publishers, as I can find the time. +nanochess
Nice collection! It's ironic that Plaque Attack is being attacked by plaque . I suggest to use some silica bags along these cartridges to stop plaque.
Serious
Nice collection! It's ironic that Plaque Attack is being attacked by plaque . I suggest to use some silica bags along these cartridges to stop plaque. I guess that makes Plaque Attack the quintessential Activision game for the 2600. Thanks for the suggestion on the silica gel. I am already using packets of dessicant inside the ziplock bags, and an additional one inside each box. The plaque formation on all but Pitfall 2 occurred prior to me owning them. Pitfall 2 developed minor plaque spots before I realized there may be a way to prevent it.

Serious
For my Atari games, I will just post some of the more interesting ones... Quadrun Rubik's Cube Atari Video Cube (replaced with a cart with better label 6/29/13) Asterix (PAL) and Taz (NTSC) Does an NTSC version of Asterix really exist? Crazy Climber Track & Field (cartridge, controller, and manual) Pengo Sentinel I wonder if Sentinel is only playable with XE light guns? Is there another light gun that is designed for use with the 2600? Or did Atari intend for everyone who bought this game to buy an XE light gun? Gremlins Football / RealSports Soccer I'd like to add Obelix, Fatal Run, and Klax to my collection at some point.. Waterworld, meh.. (I can't see myself playing Waterworld, so not too important to me..) Edited June 29, 2013 by Serious

Serious
What a great collection! Where did you find Sinistar? I wouldn't mind adding to my collection. I got it from Marc Oberhauser. I'm not sure he has any of the carts left, but he'd be the guy to talk to. I had never played 2600 Sinistar until I received this, and it is pretty good! Serious
My CBS Games collection.. Blueprint Gorf Gorf Space Cadet medal (Requires a score of 15k to qualify.. I am currently 220 pts away from qualifying for this) The medal was shipped in the plastic bag that's in the photo. Mountain King Solar Fox Tunnel Runner Wizard of Wor Worrior medal (requires 30k to qualify.. I have qualified for this one.. much easier than the Space Cadet medal, in my opinion) I wonder if any of these games came with "fun vouchers" besides Wizard or Wor, Gorf, and Solar Fox? I've never seen the decals from the Solar Fox fun voucher..
