LidLikesIntellivision
The season of low-quality-games... With many games beeing suggested from players it's a good proof you NEVER can please everybody. Not to mention the 3 games from the 20 better 2600 games. Or the always great Activision games, and we played many of them. Or the coming homebrews... Or S.Baz experience with bad games, many times, by digging a game, you can discover it's actually a good one. Yes, I'm loving this season.
NIKON
A game of strategy and timing.....winning combination...sometimes what looks like a simple game can be difficult to master. I have never played this game before and so far I like it...thanks again 2600 HSC for turning me on to another great title.

Maybe I'm wrong as in Skiing scores when I thought early in the week we already had the winning score... I must stop my predictions, I'm beeing surprised over and over with higher scores. Vocelli
Holy CRAP! First off... I was unable to post for about 36 hours. So updates were not done unless I was in my office on my desktop. It is fixed. Secondly... I love this game. I don't know why but it is fun. Thirdly... I am amazed at the scores so far! Forthly... 'low quality games'? C'mon Mister VCS. Maybe the last 3 weeks have been less than stellar but if we play the same games over and over then we lose the fun of discovery. Ok. Back to business. Good Luck.
S.BAZ
I'm new to this game, although I did play it for about 30 seconds once. it does have a cheap appearance at first but thanks to the radar map at the bottom, it seems like a pretty good game to me played one game last night: 7330 also i gotta say, even when we play a game i don't like and it's truly bad (like coconuts) it's still fun to compete at a crappy game I never played before and coconuts was fun to joke about also it helps me give each of my games a chance so I can explore my collection!! one of my inspirations that kick started me into a retro-gaming attack was Dr. Sparkle's Chrontendo episodes -- If you like NES and haven't seen his videos, check it out, I had a two-week all day krakk-fest watching those when I first found it. Now that guy knows how to have fun with a cheap game! Edited August 25, 2013 by S.BAZ

LidLikesIntellivision
It seems the bonus won't work well this round. The backward score goes to zero soon after you die and it's difficult to take a pic in time. On the other hand, last round had the best bonus ever. It was a way to play a great game that doesn't give us scores to compare. I don't know if we have time for this round (if everyone agrees with a change in the middle of the round), but I'd like to play a game for bonus again. I was checking the 'winnable games' thread in order to find games we could play and earn points if we can finish it. So my humble suggestion would be to play such a game. I think fathom has an ending and maybe not too hard to accomplish... Well, at least, this 'win a winnable game and get bonus points' appears to be a good bonus idea. Just like the Adventure (actually having 3 dragons in a room is harder than rescueing the calice) P.S.: we also could be allowed to take a pic of the lower non zero backward score... but that's not a good strategy for higher scores, just sayin'

Take your posted score and read it backwards including the zero. If it is lower than your posted score than you get +2 Scrabble15, right now, has the +2 bonus but you do not. I also like the idea of accomplishing winnable games. But with winnable games most of the solutions are on-line somewhere. I still might try it in the future but I also like the idea of doing something special in a game. I thought the five dragon idea was cool and I didn't think anyone could do it. Surprise, it was done by many. So you may see more of those in the future. Ok, back to playing.... er' I mean working.

Scrabbler15
65,570 This score regains the lead and loses my bonus at the same time. Guess that will just add some extra incentive to try to push this up again. .

I still might try it in the future but I also like the idea of doing something special in a game. Maybe a week with more than one winnable game might be an option. Fathom and Pitfall II are someone easy winnable games but very hard to max the accompanying score of each. What are some others like this?
