LidLikesIntellivision
(...)It is rumored, ok I started it, that the guy in Toyshop Trouble is the same dude from Texas Chainsaw Massacre! Oh, the Hijinks never stops and hilarity ensues. So after painting some nice toys for the children, chainsaw some people to death and get that damn song (you know which one) out of your head! (...) It sounds more as Patrick's job, the elf who painted all toys in gray and said he was going to Bahamas... At the last page of the manual it is written: "Toyshop Trouble has a secret level! I won't tell you how to get there. Easter egg clues are right here if you look hard. No doubt, 30 is a lucky #. Right in this general area. Go from the beginning to the end based on this clue we will drop: Secret nine-letter word on Dec. 24!" Toyshop Trouble!

Deteacher
This is my favorite homebrew. I'd jump in, but it's way too late in the season for me to do any kind of damage. I'm going to hang back until the new season starts. Speaking of new seasons, season 6 of the Arcade/MAME HSC is starting up this week <shameless plug, I know.>

karokoenig
Let's be counted here. First time ever that I play Toyshop Trouble. Impressive achievement, this game. The current score is done with keyboard controls, but now I do have an USB adapter that supports joystick at least. Gonna be interesting how it'll affect my gameplay... Toyshop Trouble: 4,319. Bonus Massacre: 11,000. What a turd of a game.
LidLikesIntellivision
41,104 Nothing like a good competition to improve your scores! I played Toyshop before with the rom and then I bought the game some months ago but I never could pass Christmas. Today I got it for the first time and I'm glad it gets a little easier in January compared to 23th and 24th Dec.

+craftsmanMIKE
Ok, so I checked out the thread, I have the ROM. Thanks for the link post GORFY, i'm sure it helped others. Any links for instructions anyone? My suggestion for for future homebrew, or otherwise rare games, post a link for ROM, and instructions when available. I searched AA best I know how? couldn't find instructions??? I know finding the info was key for last game. For me anyway.(Thanks again ZOYX)

I searched AA best I know how? couldn't find instructions??? I know finding the info was key for last game. For me anyway.(Thanks again ZOYX) I guess I am a very serious man. When I joked about Patrick being the killer in chainsaw game I almost got all evidence by posting the manual scan. Nobody downloaded that... hmmm I should stop trying to make good jokes, I'd love to write as Scrabbler but I can't... And Gorfy was much more efficient posting the rom's link saying it was a rom link. I only said Toyshop Trouble! On the other hand, that priapism Gorfy posted... Gorfy
This may sound a little dense, but I didn't realize that you could move faster by keeping the button held down So that's my big tip: hold the button down to go faster.
