Joystick Jolter
Hello again everyone, This week I have another 2 prototypes up for auction. This is the auction for the Atari 2600 Data Age FRANKENSTEIN'S MONSTER prototype. Not too many rules 1. Serious Bidders Only Please 2. Starting Bid is 9.99 3. Bids must be $1.00 higher than previous bid. 4. Auction will end as soon after 8PM as I close it. If I have not officially closed the auction it is still open for bids. Please feel free to post anything you feel you would like to but lets try to keep the bids legit. I think most here are too serious about the hobby of collecting to deliberately try to screw things up, but one never knows. Thanks Anthony The auction is here: http://www.onlineauctionsales.com/VG012703.htm Let the BIDDING BEGIN.........

You should nullify edited posts by bidders if they do so. Just my 2c.

Joystick Jolter
If it's for Frankenstein's Monster, I'll bid $140 This is the High Bid with 2 days to go. This will close Sunday night around 8PM EST. It will close when I say it is closed. Not necessarily exactly 8 PM
CPUWIZ
It will close when I sayit is closed. Not necessarily exactly 8 PM That smells like Yahoo, I don't like it.
Mock
Actually that was probably my idea We have run a few auctions at my place and by ending it at (as in this example) "around 8pm" instead of "8PM sharp" it has cut back on a lot of BS...and it's worked well for us...this keeps the "snipe" factor out. Ah- at a real auction you get the "going once - going twice" deal...think of it as that...also, other sites besides ebay will extend the auction 15 or 20 minutes past the last bid. I kinda like it myself, gives everyone a clean shot at it....I might not be able to resist that impulse buy if I get caught up in a bid frenzy at the end...roflmao. Anyway...I guess it's worth a try, and if it doesn't work well, the idea can be trashed for future "auctions"? Mock

Joystick Jolter
I assure all it will be almost exactly 8PM, but I am just saying it will close when I say CLOSE is due to the fact that I cannot guarantee that AA's time will be correct nor can I guarantee that my time will be perfectly correct. I will be right here at 8 awaiting Cinderella's clock to GONG That is God willing. We are at 33 hours and 10 minutes and counting(roughly). Good Luck everyone
Joystick Jolter
If it's for Frankenstein's Monster, I'll bid $140 It appears sku_u is going to win this in a going away win. With the leading bid of $140 most of the week unless some hot and heavy bid lands on the mark at around 7:59 tonite.
