enthusi
Hi everyone, I would not advertise our Ebay auction if it were not 100% for charity. The amount of the highest bid will be transferred to doctors without borders by us. Ebay and paypal costs will be paid by me. Also shipping within Germany. Some details (also given in the auction description). - Assembloids 2600, fully working prototype - one of only two ever assembled carts (the other one is in good hands already) - PAL version (!) - the full final price will be donated to doctors without borders (the german division of it). Since there are quite some European Atari friends, I wanted to post it here as well Thanks to Slator who is also a member here and involved in this charity project as he paid for the hardware and organized the prototype board. You will find the auction here (link to german ebay): http://www.ebay.de/itm/201004413867 I will keep you posted on the success in the end, we are quite happy already. Cheers, Martin /enthusi
karokoenig
Awesome! Doctors without Borders is a great organization that can use every cent possible. I am observing the auction, but I won't be able to bid. As much as I appreciate this charity, it's already too much for my purse. Wish you all the best for a seriously high end result. I suggest that everyone who can't afford bidding on the item, but wants to chip in a few bucks anyway: contact enthusi and get his paypal adress. Come on, guys - 'tis the Season! enthusi
only about 24h left. We are quite happy already. Good luck and much fun!
enthusi
The auction has ended and we have a hopefully happy winner who generously bid 201 eur. I transferred 220 eur to doctors without borders, including the extra 11 eur from karokoenig and some rounding up. We are very happy it worked out so well Now there are no prototypes of the game left (and no more are going to be made) - hopefully there will be a chance to get a boxed version 'of-the-shelf' within this year from Atariage. A happy and healthy New Year 2014 to everyone, Martin /enthusi
karokoenig
If there are physical copies available, will that also be in Europe/Germany? I'd definetly like to buy one, but would like to avoid the insane shipping and customs costs from the US.
