Intellivision controller adapters - what input controller should be used?

So is this basically a Genesis controller modded to work on the Intellivision? Will it have the adaptor to work on INTV 2/Sears consoles?

Its a small box that has a built in keypad and a db9 port and +5v power jack. The db9 port connects to Genesis 3 button controller. db9 cable connects to Intellivision 2 or Sears Super Video Arcade

price is likely to be around $100. Right now its just a guess. I'll know more in a few months.

The Megadrive is another one of my favourite consoles so it is cool to know that there will be an Intellivision "connection" there. Cheers.

I did the CPLD design back in the early part of 2014, but I've not tested it at all. I've been so busy with work and son's baseball that I've done zero since then. I should be able to pickup in the winter.
