Irgendwer
I was able to dig up a manual. My manual is the second edition from 1986 - so it seems that the program have had some success...

The C64 had quite a few versions and they also made a database on the C64: C64 Versions + StarDatei There was a version on MS-DOS too. Irgendwer
From the conservation point of view the programs "Austro.Base" and "Austro.Text" are also quite interesting. AFAIR Austro.Text supported images in the text, and both programs together allowed "mail-merge": You are able to create serial letters, based on a selection of addresses out of Austro.Base. Biggest drawback (and why I used them rarely) was the usage of DOS 3. (Yes, seriously!)

+kheller2
How do you distinguish them? http://atariage.com/forums/topic/102915-dos-3-history/?p=1250065 And for some odd reason I think there was a little circle sticker placed on good DOS3 disks.
+MrFish
Thanks to Hias and GoodbyteXL (and LuckyBuck for passing information to GBXL), we have a clean copy of StarTexter now. The two separate copies they provided were exact matches. StarTexter.atr Edited April 17, 2017 by MrFish
