Draker Quest- Complete

And i was in a dungeonwhere i get hints about the tower.But i was not able to open.Moving in this

big world is really heavy.Maybe you could mark

all dungeons in red??or with a D ? If i look at the maps,i cannot make out,what are enemies or dungeons?

Using the maps is not easy :(

Hi Franco

played again with map and i reached map 2

So i was on map 2 and not in map 1

Sorry for the confusing.I reached the 2nd dungeon ,the one on the right,but it is damn big

and i did not find any key.....till now

found a dungeon,where 20000 opens the gate.The gate opens,but i cannot enter ;(

That is actually a "warp" area. It will take you to the cool world bypassing dungeons and the first floor of the tunnel but with a 20,000 point price. I updated the code for this but you have to collide with the door (which might be not a bad idea to add text to the talking npc draker).

Warp Area?

When i open the door,nothing happens :(

I loose 20000 and the door disappears,but i am

not transfered to another room

I never tried mess with its settings etc. even after Trebors explaination seems I am too lazy to learn new tricks.

I have used prosystem but I understand it is not as accurate. I know I could probably figure out MESS if I worked at it.

Prosystem won't work with games that are 256k and above.

Hi Franco

testing on real hardware is the best,cause Mess

ignores some bugs.I checked your actual version

and have good news...no bugs till now,but i will check more at weekend

this is great stuff! It's really filling a void to have a big Zelda style game.

 

If I'm being honest (and I mean this in the nicest way and with the utmost respect), it has a bit of a "programmer art" look to it. I guess I've been spoiled by the work that PacMan Red and others have done.

 

I think you'd really have something killer if an artist helped you update the art a bit.

 

Please don't take that as a criticism. It's more a suggestion to help a really cool project become a really great project.

just played around for longer time.

Warp works now....In the Iceworld i

found this pyramid,guess it is the Tower?

In this big dungeon,i found another

dead end....

The game is really great.......It has your

own Draker style....I would not change

the graphics....I do not agree to DIB .

Why always need an artist?

But maybe a little animation of the

player???But first of all you should

complete the gameplay and then,we

will see,what is possible....Maybe a Save

option with the Save Key or Atari Vox?

But i have no great programming skills.

Keep up the great work....

And at last one question?Is there any goal

while i run around the big terrain?

About the dead end...have a look at the photo
