piter
hi, I have some (~25 pcs) alternative pads for Jaguar. anyone wants to collection? in my opinion, it is worse than the original pad from Atari for collection only (for me) they are new, unused, originally packed. Manufactured in Poland around '95. Price: 9,99€ + P&P. - payment via PayPal shipping: 8€ for most EU countries, 12€ for other like a US if you have any questions - send me pm, pls Piotr
sh3-rg
At first I thought this was a modified controller, didn't realise it was actually a 3rd party pad replacement. While it's clearly not that useful not having a number pad, as a collector curio it's got a ton of appeal I think. And seeing Dendy, Super Famcom, Family Game, Pegasus etc on there, pulls hard at a famiclone kid like me It's just a shame I don't collect and have to look to downsize rather than add to what I have or I'd be all over these. Nice find!
+LS650
I'm interested. I'll send you a PM.
Rick Dangerous
Cool. There are plenty of jag games, including homebrews, that don't necessitate the use of the number keypad, so this would be fun to have, provided a,b,c are mapped specifically for jaguar, which it looms like this model (hopefully actually) is. Will pm you later when not on my phone.
scobb
Curious, other than # pad, what makes it worse? Does it function like a Sega Pad? That would actually seem better, if so. Thoughts? Scott
82-T/A
I am definitely interested. After about an hour or so of playing, my hand begins to hurt.
108 Stars
OMG, amazing horse!!! If the build quality is decent, this is a huge step up. So is this an actual 3rd party controller for Jag, or has it been modded to work with the Jag? EDIT: Saw the answer myself. Awesome stuff! Thoughts? Scott If it were manufactured by Sega then sure, I'd agree. From owning dozens and dozens of clone systems and having an eye for these things, I'm inclined to trust Piter's assessment of the pads But damn, I'd really like to own one, 3rd party Jaguar stuff is effectively non existent (unless you start looking towards workshop hack jobs or worse). +LS650
I've seen one of these Boomerang Jaguar controllers on eBay once or twice before, but no one seemed to know anything about them. I'm guessing they were never sold outside of Poland. Edit: I knew I had seen these discussed before, so I went searching and found this thread from 2008: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/128360-jaguar-controllers/page-2?do=findComment&comment=1577778 Edited January 11, 2015 by ls650

Rex Dart
I'm wondering if this would be a more affordable way to make a rotary controller for the Jaguar, rather than gutting an official pad.

+madman
I'm wondering if this would be a more affordable way to make a rotary controller for the Jaguar, rather than gutting an official pad. Not really considering how cheap and plentiful official Jag pads are.

sh3-rg
wow, please stahp, this stuff is eating away at my dormant inner collector geekiness Looks great in black and the packaging looks much tidier than the previous photo. Simply experiencing playing a game with the dome d-pad would be worth the price of entry!

+LS650
Yeah, the black does look good, and is a much better match to the Jaguar shell. It will be interesting to try this out; I've always liked the Sega Genesis controller!
