Rednecklawrence
Good idea! Also worth noting for future - if the disc on one controller is held down when the system is turned on/reset, then neither controller will respond. You won't be able to leave the title screen or start the game. This is definitely true for games that use the standard title screen. Makes lots of sense, as once I got past the title screen THEN plugged in the controller, the laser in astrosmash would immediately go right or left, meaning the disc was pressed down. freewheel
This is just another reason why I use Atlantis as my "goto" test cart when it comes to controller issues. It uses enough of everything, both controllers work *almost* the same for things, and you don't have to deal with the Mattel intro screen. intvnut
Hmm... sounds like I should make a version of my hand controller scanning test that bypasses the title screen, and maybe also just output a 'raw' value for each controller input in addition to whatever it's decoded. Hmmm... *scratches notes for a future possible 'test cartridge'*
