I'm almost afraid to ask this emulator question...

SUCCESS!!!

I found a Model III ROM and....

Now I just need to find a few disks loaded with Retro-Nostalgia Goodies!

THANKS sm3

Wow awesome!

Have fun with it!!

I should note that the model3.rom I posted is from that emulator in the posts I made above. While it seems to work, I can't guarantee it any further because I'm not sure where it came from. The ROMs I use with TRS32 are copied from my real TRS-80s and I don't own a Model III unfortunately.

Yeah, I wish I had more time to play this morning, but I have a few things I need to do before I leave for work.

I can see that this is going to be a big black hole for my extra time!

Right, I know what you mean!

You should be able to use a Windows (USB) joystick with the emulator as well, although I haven't actually tried it yet. I just use the keyboard.

Well, I played around enough today and now I have to leave for work, but what I did do was....

1) Played a butt-load of Robot Attack & Meteor Mission! (the only two games I currently have).

2) Made a blank TRSDOS disk for future use.

3) Looked around and could not find any images that actually worked. (Directions to a source welcome!) :)

Now since I'm a total Newb with the TRS-80 emulation and have not played with a TRS-80 since around 1985, please be patient with me while I get re-acquainted with everything.

I now have a couple of questions:

a) Is there a PC program out there that can remove programs from all the different image types and different operating systems and put them on another disk? If so, what's it called and where do I find it?

b) Where is the best place to download .DSK images that will work in this fantastic little emulator?

I'm ready to start loading up!

Again, thank you so much sm3, I could not have gotten this far without your help.

Check out TRSTools for Windows also by Matthew Reed: http://www.trs-80emulators.com/#Utilities

And to answer the question on where to get disk images, I use this place: http://www.theoldcomputer.com/

Hope this helps you out!

Damn, finding downloadable and playable games for the TRS-80 emulator is harder than I thought... and my wishlist is growing!

Games is blue are my priority, green are also wants. Nostalgia is an itch I need to scratch.
