Looking for both Revision and Model Number I've seen that the Gamepad is a 1991 model, which means that it should be Region-Free (PAL Gamepads, regardlessly of revision, were consistently region locked).

You don't have to worry about that, howewer, if you are going to connect it to an American Super Nintendo or to a Japanese Super Famicom.
