Stone
Hey all, I just pulled an AT power supply from an old PC I had lying around, to use when making my Supergun (arcade board->TV convertor, for those not in the know). Sadly it only outputs 10.6V on the 12V line, and I need 12V Anyone have a spare power supply they could send me? (they weigh a bit, I know, so best if you're from the UK). In return you can have this one, which I'm sure works perfectly well for PCs (not that I can test it, since I have no PC attached to it any more) but I actually do need 12V from it. Alternatively, I've got a fair bit of oldish PC stuff knocking about (processors (including a 400MHz Intel Overdrive chip for 486 systems and some Pentiums), RAM, heatsinks, floppy drives, CD drives, cabling etc) which you're welcome to choose from in return. Any replies (here, email or pm) welcome Cheers, Stone
Stone
Update: after testing the supply under load I found the voltages stabilised at 5.1V and 12.0V respectively. So all is well *cue rampant hacking of power supply to remove surplus wiring* Stone
