+Schmitzi
maybe a try to make "all this" running on the FinalGROM´99. Not sure if this is possible. In the thread (linked above) I decscribed what we did to read out the cartridge. All data is in this ZIP-File, Eproms and ReadOut from the cartridge, happened with this special widget

Isn't that what the FinalGROM needs?

Omega-TI
Can somebody test that ? Hmmm, I didn't know they existed, good to know. At any rate, I'll be happy to test them when I get back from work today. Just post the files here so I can easily grab them.
+Schmitzi
cool. Here, pls find the whole ZIP in this thread: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/238851-the-asgard-software-archive/?p=3741198 And there in, in this XB3_Winkler_Trans-Recv directory, as mentioned by Rasmus
Omega-TI
Sorry, I could NOT get it to run. What I did: 1) I moved the XB3C, XB3D AND XB3G files into a subdirectory on the FG99 titled "XB3". 2) I converted the TRANS_02.dsk into an HFE file on the Lotharek. What happens: A) When loading with the TRANS_02.dsk present the screen goes into technicolor flashing fits. B) When loading without the disk present, an I/O error occurs, drops into what appears to be a BASIC prompt, however if you do anything it locks up and makes a racket. I believe this package will require some tweaking before it'll run on the FG99.

FDOS
FYI Both Diskfixer 2.0 & 2.1 are in the Classic Carts DL folder on the WHT FTP site.
Omega-TI
Thanks for the heads up. I just remember someone asked for it a few days ago, so it was added to the list. There are so many programs to keep track of, I guess it's inevitable that one or two duplicates manage to get through.
+Schmitzi
DISK FIXER 2.1 Is this for the FR´99er ?
+InsaneMultitasker
How about creating a dropbox or box folder with a few owners that can manage/upload the files? (Or even create a dedicated 'upload' account or folder anyone could use to avoid spam?) Then anyone with dropbox or box could link to that folder directly to copy the images.

Omega-TI
This game is pretty fun! There is only one thing I don't like about it... IT'S TOO ADDICTING! I cannot tell you how many times I've played it, but if I only claimed 1/2 the time I've spent on it, the TI would win the "what have you played".

Retrospect
it seems the version of "Doncaster Racecourse" on here for FR99 is not the latest one. It's an early revision with different music and no parallax scrolling. When i get time later I'll find the later one and pop it into here if it's in EA5 format for some clever dudes to convert to BIN.
Omega-TI
Sounds good. Thanks for letting me know. I'll keep my eyes open for the replacement to link to.
Retrospect
Thanks Omega. Here's the finished game. There's an "attract mode" of sorts on the title screen, (if you wait about 20 seconds into the tune it kicks in) ... parallax scrolling, and different tunes. Note also that the game will take advantage of the F18A ... it gives all the horses a black shadow, and allows more multi-coloured clouds and an arrow behind your backed horse ... Will still look ok without F18 but not as intended. Classic99 users switch "flicker" to off and JS99er users can use options for F18a emulation DON.zip Edited May 2, 2017 by Retrospect
